From clinical experience to a submitted paper in 6 weeks

A practical workshop for working doctors who have data but keep starting and stopping. You bring your own project. We put it on a six week roadmap together, and you leave with your first week planned.

What we do on the day

Bring your own project

✓
The roadmap. The six steps I use to go from clinical data to a submitted manuscript. One step a week, about four hours a week.
✓
Your project on the map. You place your own project on the roadmap and see exactly where it is today.
✓
Your research brief. You write one page that tests whether your question is ready, live, in the session.
✓
Your slowest stage. You name the one place your project stops, and plan your first week around it.
✓
Live Q&A at the end.

What you leave with

Honest about fit

Who it is for

For

Working doctors with clinical data who keep starting and stopping.

Not for

Medical students, interns or foundation doctors, or anyone who wants a paper written for them.

Your host

Who you'll learn from

Dr. Amr Moursi

Founder & Host

Dr. Amr Moursi

FRCS (SN), MBChB (Honours), MSc Neurosurgery, MD (Res)

In 2018, my whole research output was one conference poster. Everything I have written since, I wrote around a full clinical rota, with no research leave. Trained in two systems: MSc in Neurosurgery at Alexandria University, then an MD at the University of Hull. In the workshop I show you the same six steps I use.

After Saturday

After the workshop

Some doctors want help with their own paper. In December, a small number of doctors work with me for six weeks on their own manuscript. I explain it at the end of the workshop. Nobody is asked to buy anything on the day.
